Morse code

As a newcomer to amateur radio, there is alot i don't understand, morse code is one of those things,i hope in time to master this black art,with a view to using it as a preffered method of communication.

Morse code hasnt always been the same dits and dahs, there have been various changes, but below is the recognised morse code list.

I have only included the general morse characters, but there are puntuation marks as well as abbreviations.
