Ohms law.

Mathematics plays a small part in the foundation licence, but nothing that is to taxing, you are also allowed to use a calculator in the exam, should you need one. I wont go into great detail about ohms law, other than to provide an simple explanation, once you get used to the formula, it isnt to bad to get your head round, i struggle with mathematics in general, but i have a basic grasp on ohms law !

In the picture of the triangle, the line that goes across the middle denotes that you divide the numbers up or below it.

Remember the saying : V over I times R

V is the voltage

I is the current

R is the resistance

To find the voltage ( V ), times the current ( I ) by the resistance ( R )

To find the resistance ( R ), divide the voltage ( V ) by the current ( I )

To find the current ( I ), divide the voltage ( V) by the resitance ( R )
